We offer three residential terms each year. For those seeking deep reflection and community integration, we recommend joining us for a full term.
If you are looking for a shorter window of rest and reflection, a 3-4-week stay allows for a meaningful dive into a specific area of study. You are also welcome for a shorter visit to give you a little taste of what life is like at L’Abri, although to experience it more fully we recommend a longer stay.

Visiting for the day
Beyond our residential terms, we love welcoming day guests into the life of L’Abri. If you’re in the area, please reach out to schedule an afternoon visit; we’d love to show you around Chalet Bellevue if a staff member is available.

You are also welcome at our table for lunch or dinner (please give us 3–4 days’ notice for food prep; a CHF 5 contribution to food costs is appreciated if possible). While large groups are a bit much for our kitchen, the kettle is always on! Finally, our doors are always open for our Tuesday and Friday lectures (9:15 a.m.) and our Sunday morning Bible study (11:00 a.m.).
Please check in with us ahead of time if you are planning to come just in case there is a change to the schedule.
